Hello there. This is my first blog( you may have guessed already.)I am a recently retired primary school teacher.I actually retired last summer,but it's taken this long to get my act together and start writing.I thought come on girl,you are not alone. There are others like me who as I write must think hey no more school.But what next? I'd love to hear from others like me who have just retired.How are you finding retirement?
When I finished last summer,I decided that I wasn't really going to think what I was going to do.(lots of people asked me.What are you going to do with all your time?what are you going to do after spending 30 ish years juggling sometimes 10 things at once for the good of all the little people in my class)
Well I decided just to be.....and see what happened.
I think of myself as being quite a arty creative soul and I was very excited at the prospect do doing all those things that I never seemed to have the time to do when I was working. So for a few months thats exactly what i have been trying to do.
